Conducted extensive user research and designed an online community connecting producers, consumers & retailers focused on promoting transparency within the food system and lowering barriers to eating locally.

  • Advised professor Qing on the uses and affordances of an open-source platform for the China Digital Times, a collaborative news aggregater.
  • Designed and developed a prototype to map the news items on the China Digital Times according to specific tags (e.g. see all news items tageed "mine-safety" together on a map).
